Zoo Day

Going to the zoo is one of my favorite things to do! On this particular day I had just gone to my literature class at school and brought a lunch with me to drive straight to the zoo. None of my friends wanted to go so it was me, my iphone, and a bunch of animals. I really enjoyed myself. I love being about to walk at my own pace and despite being there alone there were some people that I did talk to...and a few animals. I have better pictures of some of the animals, especially some of my favorites. But these are just the pictures that I took during this trip.

Baby flamingos are born grey, you can see a few of them, and they turn pink as they grow due to their diet.

Easter French Toast

As most of you know, I love food coloring! It makes everything so much fun! It can change ordinary french toast into an Easter breakfast!

Simply add a few drops of food coloring to your eggs. Since I wasn't making too much I only cracked 1 or 2 eggs at a time to have a larger variety in colors. 

Peep S'more

Pie might be the most traditional dessert to have on Easter, but Matt and I are not normally those to follow tradition. For dessert we had s'mores made from Peeps!

We don't have any flame to make marshmallows over, so I heated them up in the microwave. Only about 15 seconds.

For funsies I made a s'more with peanut butter on the upper cracker. It tasted amazing but was so hard to eat! Imagine your mouth full of melted peanut butter AND gooey marshmallow at the same time. 

Bunny Mask

Want a super easy and practically free craft to do this Easter? I know it's hard to have younger children sit at the table for a nice dinner when older relatives would like to visit. This would be a fun way to keep them entertained.

Easter dinner aside, this is a fun craft! I did this with a group of 8-10 year old girls and it went over great!
